Ten years ago today my oldest daughter graduated from high school. It was a nice day but there were still ice bergs on Lake Superior. Today it was gorgeous and my gardens are well into bloom. Yesterday before work I stopped at Shopko and bought some pansies and moss roses. Today I planted them. I also got most of the vegetable garden planted. It was nice to be able to work outside today. It's hard to believe that my oldest daughter is old enough to have graduated ten years ago. That also means that I graduated 30 years ago. Most of the time I don't feel old but more
and more frequently my body reminds me that I'm getting older. For the most part I figure you're only as old as you feel and I am young at heart.I had to stay over last night. Luckily I was able to get someone to come in early for me and I only had to stay until 0400. I was able to finish the hardanger project that I was working on. I took pictures of it today and listed it on ebay. I need to make another one and matching placemats. I'm going to give them to my niece as a wedding present. She's getting married next summer in July. The last I knew her favorite color was green. Same as both of my girls. My favorite color is purple. Which is why I used that color as the main color in my bedroom.
